Tribute to Ruth Montgomery
by Ed Hager

At shortly after twelve noon, on Sunday, June 10, 2001, Ruth Montgomery made her transition.
Although she had been in somewhat poor health over the last several years, I understand Ruth was still sharp up to the end. In passing, it was quiet and peaceful and I was told there was a simple funeral. If any of you so desire, you may donate whatever you wish to your favorite charity in her name. Ruth made her home over the last number of years in Naples, Florida where she remained after the passing of her husband Bob Montgomery about 10 or so years ago. Although she was hesitant to reveal her age, she did finally state she was close to 90 years old but even when we met her several years ago in St. Paul, Minnesota, Ruth looked much younger.
Her many books have given so many individuals hope and inspiration over the years. Her guides initiated the name "Walk-Ins" in the one book, "Strangers Among Us" and this was followed up with "Threshold To tomorrow". Ruth's books are classics in their own right and it might be well if you haven't read some of them in a while, to reread a few so you can appreciate that she is now on 'that' side and see things from the soul/spirit view.
Perhaps now she can meet some of the guides that have given her so much to write about over the years and I can only assume she will be busier than ever, recording all the events from her celestial seat.
Send your love and prayers for Ruth to ascend and have peace.
Light and Love,
Ed Hager |
